Hello World
The phrase above has delighted many programmers after their discoveries that their test programs were successful.
We here at Teens in Tech are just as delighted as we launch the official blog for Teens in Tech. I’m Sean Quinn, Community Blogger for Teens in Tech, and I will be reporting both the latest news and information pertaining to Teens in Tech both before and after our service’s official launch.
The Teens Plugged In: Second Annual Teens in Tech Conference sponsored by Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Comerica Bank, and Microsoft in the Hewlett-Packard Auditorium in Palo Alto, California, which occurred yesterday, Tuesday, May 12, 2008. This conference was able to spotlight the effect teenagers are making in the technology business as well as advice that came from technological entrepreneurs to teenagers of today. This conference featured the President and CEO of Teens in Tech, Daniel Brusilovsky as well as the Vice President of Operations, Richard Escobedo introducing the company’s vision and plans, while Richard also gave a keynote address. Video of this address as well as further details from the conference will be available soon. For more information on the conference, click here.
Also, we’ll have a new theme coming for the blog very soon. It’s already been picked out, we’re just customizing it to our standards at the moment.
I’d like to close by answering a few common questions below the jump.
What is Teens in Tech? Probably the most common question we here on the staff have received, but if you’re asking me, I’m just as excited to answer it every time. Teens In Tech is a community that serves to give hosting for blogs, podcasts, video podcasts (vodcasts), or live streams. We do this because we want to see the next generation, which is rapidly approaching, be able to embrace the future media and to give those teens an opportunity to broadcast their opinions and an audience to broadcast their opinions to.
Why? Why not? We all feel very strongly that teenagers need to embrace this opportunity that has been put forth in front of them. We understand that not all teenagers are financially equipped to embrace said opportunity, so we would like to ease that burden by providing hosting.
What if I don’t know how to blog, podcast, etc? Simple. As blog editor, I plan on providing a page of instructional how-to videos off the original blog page (so as not to confuse how-to entries with news/information about the company) so that those who have never blogged or podcasted could become just as successful and masterful of their art as someone who has amassed hundreds of entries or episodes.
Where do I go with any questions or comments? Email us at or leave a comment here on the blog. I’ll make sure to deal with each comment individually and personably so that no question is left unresolved or unanswered.
I think I can make a positive contribution to Teens in Tech. Are there any job openings? We operate on a case-by-case basis, hiring those who are able to fit our needs. Email us at with your professional resume and credentials as well as how you would like to help us out at Teens In Tech. Your e-mail will be dealt with as promptly as possible.
I’m a member of the media. Who do I contact? E-mail us at and we’ll be able to help you as soon as possible.
So I know the blog is launched, but when is the actual service launching? We’re not sure at the moment, we plan on a launch in the very near future, but we will keep everyone updated as soon as a launch date is announced and a countdown will begin.
