Drawing Nearer

Teens in Tech is planning on launching this July. We are putting the finishing touches on our service now and can’t wait to launch to the public! Teens in Tech is committed to create the best possible community for teenagers looking to become involved in technology, be it through blogging, podcasting, or any form of new media. We can’t wait to see you checking out our service soon!
On a sadder note, Teens in Tech regrets to announce the resignation of three of its employees. Richard Escobedo, Chris Farley, and Max Murphy have decided to leave the company. All three were a great help in building the foundation for Teens in Tech. The company wishes them luck and good fortune in their future and personal endeavours.
Richard Escobedo’s blog, vlog, and podcasts can be found at http://blog.richard-escobedo.com.
Max Murphy’s weekly podcast and blog, Mac News Weekly, can be found at http://macnewsweekly.com.
Chris Farley’s blog can be found at http://viewfromafarley.com.

Sweet! Can’t wait to check it out, although I won’t be using it myself.
Also, well done to Richard, Chris and Max - sad to see you go.

@Robert: We are almost there
Sad to see that you won’t be using the service, but thanks for the comment.
It was sad to see Richard, Chris and Max go, but they wanted to go back to their own projects, and I respect that.
Thanks,
Daniel.

Hey Daniel
I like the whole teens and tech thing, but how do you plan to compete with other sites such as lockergnome and my podcast? oh and are there any unique features that seperate teens in tech from other services of this type besides the fact that it is centered to a target audience (teens) sorry if I am being critical but I was just wondering, it could be a good service.
regards
john

Hey John:
For a second there, I thought you were talking about your personal podcast, haha. I now understand you mean “mypodcast”.
What separates us in my humble opinion from LG and MP is that we’re a true community. I, for one, wish to have a personal relationship with every user of Teens in Tech. I feel that someone who uses our service should not be afraid to contact me or feel any differently. We’ve got a team that’s dedicated to users’ needs, and that’s not saying teams at LockerGnome and MyPodcast are not, but rather that since we share the common bond of being teens, we can relate and help each other out.
We combine the services of Lockergnome and Mypodcast into one and one that’s more friendly on an Internet that doesn’t always seem so friendly towards teens. We are able to help those who want to livestream/blog/podcast do that, but also help them hone their skills in said form of new media and help them find an audience.
I hope I answered your question, feel free to post a follow-up.

Hey sean
Thanks for a reply, I did a little research and found a site called the teen podcasts network, this seems to have the same type of morals that TiT are trying to do, Have you guys teamed up with this company. Oh and just a side thought what will your storage (server side) and bandwidth be like to take all the traffic and uploads. This seems like an intresting site, as a web 2.0 evangalist I might do some kind of blog post on this topic, seems cool that a set of teenagers can pull together such a good service, time will tell
Please follow up on this
Many thanks
John

Hi John,
My name is Daniel Brusilovsky, and I am the Founder and CEO of Teens in Tech. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us by leaving comments.
First of all, Teen Podcast Network is run my Teen Media Productions, which we are very close to. I am on the Board of Directors of Teen Media Productions, in-fact.
With Teen Podcast Network, you have to have an already running show, so thats where Teens in Tech comes in. We will offer users the ability to start their own shows, and then move on to networks like the Teen Podcasters and Bloggers Network.
I hope this helps.
Take care,
Daniel Brusilovsky
CEO, Teens in Tech
